Candia’s
Lake is a corner of Italy that may surprise for
its pleasant and relaxing
stay, not yet known by Mass Tourism.
You will find a particulary meek climate hips in winter
season because of a morenal lake that became a Natural
Park (know
more).
Here walking on the shore you can birdwatch:
bald-coots, bitterns, ash herons, white pelican (Pelecanus
onocrotalus), the white-headed duck (Oxyura leucocephala),
the common scoter (Melanitta nigra), the merlin (Falco
columbarius), the black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa)
and the bar-tailed godwit (Limosa lapponica), the wood
sandpiper (Tringa glareola), and many others.
A place where enjoy nature
walking on nice footpaths or bycicling on muletracks.
It will takes a few minutes to reach our beautiful Canavese’s
Castles or get to the mountains of wonderful Natural
Park of Gran Paradiso.
